Game Recap

The North-Harrison Flyers were able to overcome a slow and sloppy start to beat the visiting Yellowjackets of Avondale High School Tuesday night at Holland Field. The Flyers were led, in scoring, by Carlos Tobar who had 4 goals and 2 assists. Ryan Darnell also had a strong game, offensively, after recently moving to Attack to take the place of injured Flyers payer Max Winkelman. Darnell had 3 goals and 2 assists and really helped control the game on offense for his team. Also scoring for the Flyers were Drew Hinckley (2 goals) and Ben Fernquist (1 goal). Eric O’Kins and Kevin Prabhakar each recorded an assist as well. The Flyers were led defensively by another strong game from senior defensemen Ethan Rais and Joe Damiani. Fernquist had another exceptional game at the faceoff x as well. The Flyers (2-3) look to continue their winning ways as they host Rochester High School on Friday night (7:00) and Traverse City on Saturday afternoon (1:00). Both games will be played at North Farmington’s Holland field.
